For Bariatric and Obesity Surgery, Liver Retraction, Trauma Surgery and ideal mounting for Smaller Open Surgery Retractors (Mini Bookler/Bookwalter style). The StrongArm is the latest innovative product range from Mediflex and provides table mounted holding & positioning devices to complement the hugely popular FlexArm range of products.
The unique design features a single hand wheel which simultaneously locks into place the "shoulder, elbow and wrist" of the device. Ideal for laparoscopic surgical procedures: it can hold endoscopes, instruments, Bookler retractor blades, Nathanson liver retractors, or any combination of these tools. The StrongArm is available with single, dual or triple arm.
73000 Series
The 73000 series comes complete with QuickDisconnect hexagonal tip, adjustable post height, handwheel and rail clamp.
The following versions are available:
73000 with QuickDisconnect hex fitting.
73000-DT which includes a Delrin instrument holding tip (recommended for endoscopes).
73000-QG10 (see picture on the left) includes a quick-release scope holder 10mm. Scope not included.
73000-RBA which includes a Bookler ratchet attachment, suitable to hold any of the Bookler retractor blades.
73000-BA

73010 Twin Arm Series
The 73010 series is identical to the 73000 Single Arm series, except that it has two StrongArms, each equiped with single locking handwheel.
Model 73010 (shown on the left) features two arms, each equiped with Quick Disconnect hexagonal fitting. This fitting can accommodate any of the FlexArm or StrongArm inserts, such as the stainless steel holding tip 69706, the Delrin holding tip 69707, any of the Nathanson liver retractor hooks, a quick-grip scope holder 5mm or 10mm, or a ratchet to fit any Bookler retractor.
Shown above is an example of the 73010 holding a Nathanson liver retractor hook, plus a quick-grip holding tip positioning an endoscope (not included).
73030 Triple Arm Series
The 73030 series is identical to the 73000 Single Arm series, except that it has three StrongArms, each equiped with single locking handwheel.
The pictures shown on the left shows an application example of a 73030 Trile arm StrongArm, holding:

- laparoscopic instrument, held by a 69707 Delrin tip
- rigid endoscope, held by a quick-grip scope holder
